Loden Wool Flat Cap by City Sport | Cool Comfort | Black 3982

Head outdoors with protection against cold gusts and passing showers. Windproof and rain resistant, this fully lined black wool flat cap has three vents beneath the peak to allow air to circulate for comfortable wear.

Made in Belgium from traditional Austrian-style Loden fabric, it combines 80% wool and 20% alpaca in a durable design. Plain black works easily with coats, jackets, jumpers and shirts, while the removable City Sport pin gives you a choice of finish.

Available in sizes 56–63.

Use a soft tape measure to measure around your bare head, across the middle of your forehead and just above your ears, where the cap will sit. Keep the tape level and snug, without pulling it tight.

Your measurement in centimetres corresponds to your cap size: for example, 58 cm means Size 58. If you measure between sizes, choose the larger size.

If you don’t have a tape measure, use a piece of string and measure it against a ruler.

Gently brush away surface dust with a soft clothes brush. Dab small marks with a clean, slightly damp cloth, avoiding rubbing or soaking the fabric.

If your cap gets wet, let it air-dry naturally away from radiators and direct heat. Store without crushing the crown or bending the peak.

Keep it clean and completely dry between seasons. To help prevent moth damage, store it in a breathable Protection Pouch, leaving enough room to preserve its shape.

For someone who appreciates a classic cap, this is a gift he can put straight to use. Windproof and rain resistant, it offers protection on changeable days, while plain black will pair easily with his favourite coats and knitwear. A well-made companion for everyday outings and weekends away.
