Woven by Johnstons of Elgin
Founded in Elgin, Scotland in 1797, Johnstons of Elgin is one of the most respected names in cashmere. Every stole is woven at their mill, using techniques refined over more than two centuries. Hand-finished using natural teasels, a traditional process that raises the fibres and enhances the softness of the finished piece.
Pure cashmere
The cashmere is hand-combed from the fine undercoat of cashmere goats, the source of cashmere's characteristic softness, warmth and drape. 100% cashmere throughout.
Sustainably sourced
Johnstons of Elgin are holders of the Queen's Award for Sustainable Development 2021 and members of the Sustainable Fibre Alliance, a global organisation promoting ethical and sustainable practices in cashmere production. When you buy this stole you are supporting responsible sourcing from source to finished product.
